About the brand
Denza is the premium brand of BYD, which began in 2010 as a joint venture with Daimler and is now majority owned by BYD. Its representative models are the Z9 GT, the B8 and the B5. The B5 is the export name of the Fangchengbao Bao 5 and has been sold in Australia and New Zealand. Denza also entered Europe with the Z9 GT in 2025.
