About the brand
GAC Aion is an all-electric brand owned by GAC Group and based in Guangzhou. It targets mainstream EV buyers with models such as the AION V and AION Y Plus, while its premium line is Hyptec, with the HT as a representative model. The AION V was the first model launched in Thailand, where the plant is the brand's first EV production base outside mainland China. Its vehicles also reach Cambodia and other Southeast Asian markets.
