The story behind the name

AION is GAC Group's all-electric brand. It grew out of GAC New Energy in 2017 and became the separate company GAC Aion in 2020; the name echoes 'aeon', a new era.

What is the range of the Aion LX Plus?

The top 'Qianli' version is rated 1,008 km on the CLTC cycle with a 144.4 kWh battery. Launch reports also quoted 650 km and 600 km for other versions (Sina, 2022-01-05). CLTC is a Chinese test cycle, so real-world range is usually lower.
