AION is GAC Group's all-electric brand. It grew out of GAC New Energy in 2017 and became the separate company GAC Aion in 2020; the name echoes 'aeon', a new era.

  5. It ships by RoRo or container and is delivered to you (DAP); a local customs agent clears it.

The Plus 60 lists 54.4 kWh and 400 km, the Plus 70 lists 68.0 to 72.1 kWh and 500 km, and the Plus 80 lists 80 kWh and 600 km on the CLTC cycle (CarNewsChina database, 2026-10-28). Real-world range is usually lower.

Which charger does a China-spec Aion V Plus use?

China-market cars use GB/T sockets for AC and DC. Many other markets use Type 2 (AC) and CCS2 (DC), so an adapter may be needed (Akyga, 2025-08-27).
