2. Settings saved on your device
These are kept in your browser's local storage and aren't sent to us with requests: the country you chose, cars you saved and configurations you built (when signed out), an inquiry you started but haven't sent, display settings (opening animation, motion), whether a celebration has been shown, back-button history, and the third-party video platforms you chose to load automatically.
Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes them all.
3. Third-party content (only when you tap)
- Official YouTube videos (celebrity articles and the Official videos section on car model pages) use youtube-nocookie.com and don't connect to YouTube, or load its thumbnails, until you tap play; after that, YouTube may set cookies or local storage under its own privacy policy. This site embeds official YouTube videos, played by YouTube; the home page's car explainer cards play muted when scrolled into view (visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland first tap Play previews), and not in data-saving mode.
- Official posts in celebrity articles (Instagram (Meta), X, TikTok): until you tap, you only see a grey placeholder and nothing connects to the platform. After you tap Load, the platform's own embed player shows the post and the platform may set third-party cookies or local storage and see your IP address, under its own privacy policy. Your choice is remembered on this device only if you tick Always load, and you can undo it any time.
- Creator reviews on car pages: until you tap, only YouTube's thumbnail picture (from i.ytimg.com, no cookies) or, for TikTok, a dark placeholder shows. Tapping play loads YouTube's (youtube-nocookie.com) or TikTok's own player; the platform may then set cookies and see your IP address.
- Wardrobe background removal downloads a model and runtime from Google and jsDelivr when you use it; they can see your IP address.
4. Spam check
Sign-in and some forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop automated submissions: it loads from challenges.cloudflare.com, can see your IP address, and works under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
5. In future
If we ever add something that isn't necessary, such as analytics or advertising, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent before using it.
