Questions buyers ask

Can I register a Chinese EV in Uzbekistan?

Possible with conditions: needs per-car approval, used cars to meet licence or age rules. Imported cars need conformity certification; since November 2024 personal imports need an electromagnetic-compatibility (EMC) test at a designated lab. A per-car eco certificate for hybrids was imposed in May 2025 and dropped days later. Rules change fast — to be confirmed.

How much does a Chinese EV cost delivered to Uzbekistan?

By our estimate, for example the Chery QQ Ice Cream is $8,500 FOB and about $13,300 delivered to Uzbekistan with shipping and taxes. Estimates only; the exporter's formal quote decides.

How do Chinese EVs charge in Uzbekistan?

Fast charging there is mainly GB/T / CCS2. Chinese cars dominate, so GB/T may be common, but no reliable figures found.

How is the car shipped to Uzbekistan, and how long does it take?

Usually overland through the Khorgos / Alashankou border crossing, about 10–20 days in transit (plus preparation and export customs in China). Each model page estimates freight and insurance to the border (CIP).

Is there a warranty?

Warranty terms are agreed in each contract. The maker's warranty may not apply in your country; we tell you which case applies before you sign.

Left- or right-hand drive for Uzbekistan?

Uzbekistan drives on the right (left-hand-drive cars). Right-hand-drive cars can't be registered. Each model page says whether a right-hand-drive version exists.

Can I import a used Chinese car to Uzbekistan?

Used cars up to 3 years old. Before export a used car is inspected and deregistered in China; the exporter handles it.

Does the infotainment speak my language? Do maps and apps work?

Buyers usually want a Russian UI; some China-market head units lack it and need local reflashing or an export version — ask first.

How do I pay?

The exporter sets it in the contract — usually a deposit on signing and the balance before shipment. Pay only the exporter's company account named in the contract; we never change bank details in a chat, and no payment is taken on the website.

How does buying work? Do I pay online?

Pick a car and send an inquiry; a Chinese export company (named in the contract) quotes, signs the contract and handles the export licence, customs, inspection and shipping. By default the car is delivered to your door (DAP): a local customs agent we recommend clears it, and you pay the import taxes. Nothing is paid before the contract is signed, and no payment is taken on the website.

Reference prices; the final quote decides. Prices, duties and taxes are estimates — the formal quote, the signed contract and the destination's customs decide. Not a quote or legal advice. Car pictures come from the makers' public materials and are for reference only; paint, wheels and equipment follow the actual car and the formal quote. Brand names and logos only identify the models and belong to their owners; CRAVEUO is not affiliated with or authorised by these brands and is not their official dealer.
