Questions buyers ask

Can I register a Chinese EV in Philippines?

Possible with conditions: needs a new car (used imports banned). First LTO registration needs a Euro 4 Certificate of Conformity from DENR-EMB; used imports are limited to a few groups and need an emission certificate from the origin country.

How much does a Chinese EV cost delivered to Philippines?

By our estimate, for example the Chery QQ Ice Cream is $8,500 FOB and about $11,500 delivered to Philippines with shipping and taxes. Estimates only; the exporter's formal quote decides.

How do Chinese EVs charge in Philippines?

Fast charging there is mainly CCS2. Sources list CCS2 / Type 2; how many GB/T chargers exist is to be confirmed. China-market GB/T cars may need an adapter.

How is the car shipped to Philippines, and how long does it take?

Usually by RoRo vessel to Manila, about 7–15 days at sea (plus preparation and export customs in China). Each model page estimates freight and insurance (CIF).

Is there a warranty?

Warranty terms are agreed in each contract. The maker's warranty may not apply in your country; we tell you which case applies before you sign.

Left- or right-hand drive for Philippines?

Philippines drives on the right (left-hand-drive cars). Right-hand-drive cars can't be registered. Each model page says whether a right-hand-drive version exists.

Can I import a used Chinese car to Philippines?

Used cars can't be imported. Before export a used car is inspected and deregistered in China; the exporter handles it.

Does the infotainment speak my language? Do maps and apps work?

China-market head units are Chinese-first with China-only online services; ask about English UI and local maps.

How do I pay?

The exporter sets it in the contract — usually a deposit on signing and the balance before shipment. Pay only the exporter's company account named in the contract; we never change bank details in a chat, and no payment is taken on the website.

How does buying work? Do I pay online?

Pick a car and send an inquiry; a Chinese export company (named in the contract) quotes, signs the contract and handles the export licence, customs, inspection and shipping. By default the car is delivered to your door (DAP): a local customs agent we recommend clears it, and you pay the import taxes. Nothing is paid before the contract is signed, and no payment is taken on the website.

Reference prices; the final quote decides. Prices, duties and taxes are estimates — the formal quote, the signed contract and the destination's customs decide. Not a quote or legal advice. Car pictures come from the makers' public materials and are for reference only; paint, wheels and equipment follow the actual car and the formal quote. Brand names and logos only identify the models and belong to their owners; CRAVEUO is not affiliated with or authorised by these brands and is not their official dealer.
