Questions buyers ask

Can I register a Chinese EV in Morocco?

Possible with conditions: needs per-car approval, used cars to meet licence or age rules. NARSA runs vehicle approval. Under Order 2730-10, new cars whose maker has an accredited agent in Morocco are type-approved by the maker or agent; new cars whose maker has no agent, and used cars under five years old, need individual approval car by car. Only UNECE, EU, US FMVSS, Canadian CMVSS and Gulf GSO rules are accepted — not Chinese GB standards — so China-market cars are hard to approve and EU-spec export versions far easier. Whether a parallel-imported new car of a brand with a Moroccan agent can get individual approval is to be confirmed with a customs broker or NARSA.

How much does a Chinese EV cost delivered to Morocco?

Ask for a quote; we price by model and quantity.

How do Chinese EVs charge in Morocco?

Fast charging there is mainly CCS2. Sources list CCS2 / Type 2; how many GB/T chargers exist is to be confirmed. China-market GB/T cars may need an adapter or an export version.

How is the car shipped to Morocco, and how long does it take?

Usually by RoRo vessel to Casablanca / Tanger Med, about 25–35 days at sea (plus preparation and export customs in China). Each model page estimates freight and insurance (CIF).

Is there a warranty?

Warranty terms are agreed in each contract. The maker's warranty may not apply in your country; we tell you which case applies before you sign.

Left- or right-hand drive for Morocco?

Morocco drives on the right (left-hand-drive cars). Each model page says whether a right-hand-drive version exists.

Can I import a used Chinese car to Morocco?

Used cars up to 5 years old. Before export a used car is inspected and deregistered in China; the exporter handles it.

Does the infotainment speak my language? Do maps and apps work?

French and Arabic are the usual languages; China-market head units mostly offer only Chinese and English, and their online services (maps, apps) mostly don't work there; ask whether a global firmware is possible.

How do I pay?

The exporter sets it in the contract — usually a deposit on signing and the balance before shipment. Pay only the exporter's company account named in the contract; we never change bank details in a chat, and no payment is taken on the website.

How does buying work? Do I pay online?

Pick a car and send an inquiry; a Chinese export company (named in the contract) quotes, signs the contract and handles the export licence, customs, inspection and shipping. By default the car is delivered to your door (DAP): a local customs agent we recommend clears it, and you pay the import taxes. Nothing is paid before the contract is signed, and no payment is taken on the website.

Reference prices; the final quote decides. Prices, duties and taxes are estimates — the formal quote, the signed contract and the destination's customs decide. Not a quote or legal advice. Car pictures come from the makers' public materials and are for reference only; paint, wheels and equipment follow the actual car and the formal quote. Brand names and logos only identify the models and belong to their owners; CRAVEUO is not affiliated with or authorised by these brands and is not their official dealer.
