Exports go through a Chinese export company (export agency, named in the contract), which handles the export licence, customs, inspection and shipping. Since 2026 pure-electric passenger cars need a Chinese export licence.

About the Avatr 07
One-line positioning
The Avatr 07 is a five-seat, mid-size coupe-SUV from Avatr, a brand backed by Changan, CATL and Huawei. It went on sale in China on 26 September 2024 as the brand's third model and the first one offered as both a pure-electric car and a range-extender12. It measures 4,825 x 1,980 x 1,620 mm on a 2,940 mm wheelbase, and electrive framed it as a Tesla Model Y rival2.

Exterior design
Avatr describes the styling as "future elegance", and the nose carries a double-layer LED daytime running light11. Wikipedia lists a roof-mounted lidar, thin wraparound tail-lights, electronic-release door handles and 20-inch wheels (21-inch optional)5. The 2026 model year keeps the same shape and adds a Sky Blue colour3.

Interior and space
The front seats are zero-gravity seats that recline to near flat, with heating, ventilation and massage, plus leg rests; the rear bench has three seats but is laid out as a two-seater, with a folding armrest that carries a touchscreen11. Sources agree on a 35.4-inch 4K display and a 15.6-inch screen but describe the 15.6-inch screen differently: a touchscreen in Wikipedia5, a driver display in CarNewsChina's 2026 launch report4. Check the layout on the actual car. Wikipedia gives a 500-litre boot and 1,325 litres with the seats folded5; this is a secondary source.

Battery, range and charging
CLTC (the China test cycle): the pure-electric car has a CATL Shenxing LFP battery of 82.16 kWh and is rated 650 km (rear-drive) or 610 km (all-wheel drive)1. The range-extender has a 39.05 kWh battery with 220-230 km of electric range and 1,050-1,100 km combined1; the 2026 model year adds a 52 kWh option rated 333 km electric and 1,200 km combined, and lists the 39 kWh car at 195 km3. CarNewsChina's launch report gives 245-333 km instead4. WLTP: no WLTP figure was found for the 07. Charging: CnEVPost says the pure-electric car charges 0-80% in 20 minutes with 4C cells1, and CarNewsChina gives a maximum charging power of 420 kW on its 800 V silicon-carbide platform3. A 10-80% time was not found.

Driver assistance and cockpit
The 2026 model year has Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 as standard on all trims, with navigation-assisted driving on highways and in cities, automatic parking, automatic emergency braking up to 130 km/h, and one roof-mounted lidar34. The 2024 launch cars used ADS 3.0, with a 192-channel lidar on some trims1. The cockpit ran HarmonyOS 4.0 at launch1 and HarmonyOS 5 on the 2026 car3. Whether Huawei's driving functions, maps and apps work outside China, and in which language, must be confirmed for each export order.

Safety
C-NCAP (China): five stars, 90.2% overall. The reported sub-scores are occupant protection 93.18%, vulnerable road users 81.40% and active safety 93.23%65. Autonews does not say which version was tested, while Wikipedia says the 2025 Max rear-drive EV5. Euro NCAP: Avatr does not appear in Euro NCAP's published ratings12, so there is no result to report. ANCAP: no result was found.

Who it suits and rivals
In China the 2026 model-year 07 is listed from RMB 219,900 (range-extender Elite) and 229,900 (pure-electric Elite) up to 279,900 for the pure-electric Ultra, before discounts4. For comparison, Xiaomi's YU7 Standard starts at RMB 233,500 with a 73.0 kWh battery and 643 km CLTC, the YU7 Long Range at 253,500 with 96.3 kWh and 835 km, and Tesla lists the Model Y from RMB 263,500 to 339,00010. So the 07 pure-electric Elite (229,900, 650 km CLTC) sits just under the YU7 Standard and about 33,600 below the cheapest Model Y. These are China prices, not export prices. It suits buyers who want a lounge-style cabin and a Huawei driving system; it suits less a buyer who needs a published Euro NCAP or ANCAP result.

Export notes
Steering: most cars are left-hand drive; Avatr built its first right-hand-drive 07s in Chongqing in January 2026 and shipped them to Thailand7. Charging port: China-market cars use the GB/T standard, which does not connect to Type 2 or CCS2 chargers without adapters13; whether an export car has a CCS2/Type 2 port has to be confirmed per order. Software: confirm item by item the system language, maps, apps, Huawei services and over-the-air updates for your country. Official presence: in Egypt, Kasrawy Group opened a showroom on 30 July 2026 as the brand's exclusive agent8. For Europe, Avatr announced the 06T and the 07L, not the standard 07, for Norway and Spain in 202714. Supply: CRAVEUO can supply the Avatr 07 directly, exported by an export company authorised by the manufacturer; CRAVEUO is not the brand's official dealer. The formal quotation sets the final price. We promise no warranty period or mileage here; warranty terms are set in each contract. Ask for an FOB quote on craveuo.com or WhatsApp +44 7950 045431.

The story behind the name
Avatr is a joint creation of Changan, Huawei and CATL. It was first called 安为德, one character from each partner, then renamed 阿维塔 – pronounced like 'Avatar' – to be easier to say and translate.
