Lynk & Co shows the 07 GT in Paris and names Volvo Cars its European distributor from 2027: what it means for buyers outside Europe
Lynk & Co made its first appearance at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October 2026 and gave the 07 GT, a plug-in hybrid estate, its first European showing. At the same press conference the brand said Volvo Cars will become its exclusive distributor in Europe in 2027 (Lynk & Co press release, 12 October 2026). The car on the stand was the Chinese-specification model. The brand says a future European version will have market-specific specifications, technologies and features to meet European regulations, and its releases give no on-sale date or price for it. NewMobility reported on 27 July 2026 that the brand has confirmed the model for Europe in 2027.
In China the 07 GT opened pre-sales on 29 June and launched on 23 July 2026. CnEVPost lists guide prices of RMB 157,800 to RMB 177,800 for the three regular versions (China domestic price, not an export price), and Lynk & Co said the car took more than 35,000 orders in 24 days of pre-sales. A limited edition of 1,007 cars, with a guide price of RMB 208,800, was reported sold out.

All versions use a 28.3 kWh battery. The two-wheel-drive version is rated at 200 km of electric range on the CLTC cycle and up to 1,422 km in total; the all-wheel-drive version at 170 km and 1,315 km. The all-wheel-drive car produces 390 kW (523 hp) and does 0-100 km/h in about 4 seconds. The body is 4,846 mm long and 1,900 mm wide, and NewMobility lists 614 litres of boot space in the two-wheel-drive version.
The brand also showed three models already on sale in Europe: the 08 (long-range plug-in hybrid), the 02 (electric) and the 01 (plug-in hybrid). Its releases describe 25 European markets and more than 140 partner-operated sales points, and name no markets elsewhere.
What this means for buyers outside Europe
- 1.The Volvo Cars role announced in Paris covers Europe only. Do not assume there is an official Lynk & Co dealer or service point in your country.
- 2.A China-specification 07 GT is not a European car. Check language, charging plug, and emission and safety rules in your own country before you order.
- 3.Ask who handles warranty, software updates and parts for a car imported from China. The sources we reviewed do not say.
- 4.The 07 GT is a plug-in hybrid, and plug-in hybrids are on China's export licence list. Ask for the name of the licensed exporter before you pay a deposit.
- 5.European prices have not been announced, so do not use the Chinese price as a guide to an export price.
If you are interested in a Lynk & Co model, send an inquiry with your country and the version you want. We will check whether it can be sourced through a licensed export route; the formal quote sets the price and terms.
