The story behind the name
Zeekr is built from 'ZE' for zero, the starting point of infinite possibilities, 'E' for Evolving the Electric Era, and 'Kr' for the element krypton; the Chinese name 极氪 likewise pairs 极 ('extreme') with 氪 ('krypton'). The 001 was the brand's first car, launched by Geely in 2021.
