Xiaomi's SU7 Ultra is a high-performance electric sedan from Xiaomi Auto. In October 2024 a prototype set a 6:46.874 lap on Germany's Nürburgring Nordschleife, according to Xiaomi. In June 2025 a production car fitted with the optional track package posted 7:04.957, which Xiaomi says is the fastest lap by a production electric car at the circuit.

The story behind the name

Xiaomi says SU7 stands for 'Speed Ultra', and the Ultra is the top version: a prototype and then the production car set Nürburgring Nordschleife lap records for four-door electric cars. Its three motors produce 1,138 kW, making it one of the fastest-accelerating production cars on sale.

How much does the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra cost in China?

¥529,900. The car launched on 2025-02-27 at that price (Wikipedia, checked 2026-10-28), and Xiaomi's site lists 52.99万 as the starting price. The ¥814,900 figure was the October 2024 pre-sale price (CarNewsChina, 2024-10-29).

How fast is the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra?

Xiaomi lists 1,548 PS (1,138 kW) from three motors. CarNewsChina reports 0-100 km/h in 1.98 s and a 350 km/h top speed (2024-10-29). Xiaomi's site says the 0-100 time excludes rollout and needs track tyres.

What battery and range does the SU7 Ultra have?

A 93.7 kWh ternary pack from CATL. China's MIIT filing lists ranges of 520, 555, 600 and 630 km depending on version; the report does not say which test cycle (CnEVPost, 2024-12-05).

Can I buy a new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra outside China?

Not from Xiaomi yet. Xiaomi has not authorised any exporter, and its official overseas launch is planned for 2027, starting in Europe (Lu Weibing, 2025-08-19; Lei Jun, 2026-07-13). Ask CRAVEUO EV Export to check the current rules for your country before you plan anything.

Why is the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra already sold in some countries, such as the UAE?

Through parallel imports, not Xiaomi. Independent importers buy cars in China and ship them as second-hand vehicles, usually registered in China first (CarNewsChina, 2024-07-29). Xiaomi has no UAE distributor, and imported cars usually have no Xiaomi factory warranty or authorised service (OneClickDrive, 2026-09-08). Xiaomi's own test registration in Germany (Notebookcheck, 2025-07-07) is not a sales launch.

Which charging plug does the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra have?
