The story behind the name
Xiaomi 小米 means 'millet', a nod to humble beginnings, and the company was founded by Lei Jun in 2010. Xiaomi says SU7 stands for 'Speed Ultra', and the Ultra version set Nürburgring lap records for electric saloons.
