The Hongqi EH7 is the battery-electric sedan from FAW Hongqi, sold in Europe as the E-H7. In October 2025 the E-H7 sedan and E-HS7 SUV earned five stars in Euro NCAP crash testing. The results were published by Euro NCAP and cover the two electric models Hongqi offers in Europe.

The story behind the name

Hongqi 红旗 means 'Red Flag'; FAW built the first Hongqi in 1958 and the marque has long served as China's state limousine.

How to buy the Hongqi EH7 from China

What is the Hongqi EH7 price in China, and what would it cost me?

That is not an export price: shipping, export formalities, import duty and taxes come on top. CRAVEUO EV Export gives a written quote per order.

What is the range of the Hongqi EH7?

The EH7 lists 600 km (75 kWh LFP), 690 km and 640 km AWD (85 kWh LFP), and 820 km and 760 km AWD (111 kWh NMC) on the CLTC test cycle (CarNewsChina database, 2026-10-28). Real-world range is usually lower, and the version decides the figure.

Can I import the Hongqi EH7 into my country?

It depends on your country's import and registration rules (drive side, age, type approval) and on supply. Export availability depends on the brand's authorised exporters — ask us to check before you plan a purchase. The China-market Hongqi EH7 is left-hand drive.
