About the brand
Hongqi is the premium brand of China FAW Group, positioned as a Chinese luxury car marque. Its representative models are the H5, H9 and HQ9. According to FAW, Hongqi sold 225,267 vehicles in the first half of 2025, up 11.8 percent. The brand plans to enter more than 100 countries and regions and set up overseas hubs in Southeast Asia, Europe and Latin America. Sales began in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland in 2025.
