The story behind the name
Fangchengbao (方程豹) means 'formula leopard' and Bao 5 means 'Leopard 5'. Introduced in August 2023 and on sale from November, it was BYD's six-millionth new-energy vehicle and uses a ladder-frame chassis with locking differentials for serious off-roading.
