The story
The Jetour Shanhai T1 is a plug-in hybrid off-road SUV from Chery's Jetour brand, launched in China on 27 October 2024 in three trims priced from 154,800 to 174,800 yuan. It uses Chery's Kunpeng C-DM hybrid system with about 150 km of CLTC electric range, enough for most daily commuting without fuel. With a 28° approach angle, 29° departure angle and 200 mm ground clearance, it is ready for weekend dirt roads too.
The story behind the name
'Shanhai' means 'mountains and seas', Jetour's new-energy off-road line.
