The story behind the name

XPeng (小鹏, Xiǎopéng) takes its name from co-founder and CEO He Xiaopeng, who founded the company in Guangzhou in 2014 after selling his mobile-browser start-up UCWeb to Alibaba.

  • Powertrain

Battery-electric, front motor 145 kW (197 PS), front-wheel drive on the CRAVEUO page (Wikipedia, 2026-10-28)

  • Battery and range

Up to 520 km on the NEDC test (an older test cycle, not CLTC). Wikipedia and CRAVEUO give different battery sizes, so none is stated here (Wikipedia, 2026-10-28)

  • Steering wheel

Left-hand drive only; the CRAVEUO page says no right-hand-drive version is available yet (CRAVEUO model page, 2026-10-28)

  • Charging standard

GB/T plug in China (AC and DC). Check your market's connector and adapter (Akyga, 2025-08-27)

  • Earlier exports

XPeng began exporting the earlier G3 to Norway in 2020 (Wikipedia, 2026-10-28)

  • Export status

Export availability depends on the brand's authorised exporters — ask us to check before you plan a purchase. Pure electric cars need a Chinese export licence since 1 January 2026 (CnEVPost, 2025-09-26). The G3i is discontinued, so any car would come from existing stock. Supply is confirmed per order; no delivery date is promised in advance.

How to buy the XPeng G3i from China

  1. Choose the version and colour.
  2. A licensed Chinese exporter sends you a written quote.
  3. Sign the contract; you pay only after signing.
  4. Inspect the car, or see it on a video call, before it ships.
  5. It ships by RoRo or container and is delivered to you (DAP); a local customs agent clears it.

In the EU or the UK? We only export to private buyers for their own use, not to dealers. A China-market car needs individual approval (IVA) in your country before it can be registered — cost and time vary by country; EU import duty is 10%, plus your country's VAT. If a model can't get approval, we tell you straight away.

About CRAVEUO EV Export. CRAVEUO EV Export helps buyers outside China buy Chinese electric cars. Cars are exported by licensed Chinese export companies named in the contract; nothing is paid before the contract is signed. Ask us on this page, on WhatsApp or by e-mail.

XPeng G3i buyer questions

Is the XPeng G3i still made?

No. XPeng announced that G3 and G3i production would end before 2024 (Wikipedia, 2026-10-28). In December 2023 a report said the G3i would be cleared from inventory and might be replaced by a new product (CnEVPost, 2023-12-21). Ask us whether any car is available.

How much did the XPeng G3i cost in China?

The car is discontinued, so that is a past price, not a current one. CRAVEUO EV Export gives a written quote if a car is available.

What is the range of the XPeng G3i?

Wikipedia lists up to 520 km on the NEDC test (Wikipedia, 2026-10-28). NEDC is an older European-style cycle that is not the Chinese CLTC, and real-world range is usually lower. Sources differ on battery size, so ask us which version a car has.

Which charger does a China-spec XPeng G3i use?

China-market cars use GB/T sockets for both AC and DC charging. Many other markets use Type 2 (AC) and CCS2 (DC), so an adapter may be needed (Akyga, 2025-08-27). Compatibility varies by car and charger. Check local rules, and ask us which version you would receive.

Can I import the XPeng G3i into my country?

Check your country's registration rules first. Export availability depends on the brand's authorised exporters — ask us to check before you plan a purchase. China requires an export licence for pure electric cars (CnEVPost, 2025-09-26). The G3i is discontinued, so any car would come from existing stock.
