The story behind the name

The '730' name nods to the long-selling Baojun 730 MPV. Wuling ('five rhombi') dates back to the Liuzhou microvan maker of the 1980s; SAIC-GM-Wuling kept the name when the joint venture was formed in 2002.

In the EU or the UK? We only export to private buyers for their own use, not to dealers. A China-market car needs individual approval (IVA) in your country before it can be registered — cost and time vary by country; EU import duty is 10%, plus your country's VAT. If a model can't get approval, we tell you straight away.

Wuling Starlight 730 buyer questions

How much does the Wuling Starlight 730 cost in China?

Those are China prices, not export prices: shipping, duty and taxes come on top. CRAVEUO EV Export gives a written quote per order.

What is the range of the Wuling Starlight 730?

The EV has a 60 kWh battery rated 500 km CLTC; the PHEV is rated 125 km electric-only and 1,100 km combined (CarNewsChina, 2025-11-14). CLTC is a Chinese test cycle, so real-world range is usually lower. The petrol version has no electric range.

How big is the Wuling Starlight 730 and how many seats does it have?

It seats seven in a 2+2+3 layout. It is 4,910 mm long, 1,850 mm wide and 1,770 mm high, on a 2,910 mm wheelbase (CarNewsChina, 2025-11-14). A 100 kW motor drives the EV version.

Which charger does a China-spec Wuling Starlight 730 use?

China-market cars use GB/T sockets for both AC and DC charging. Many other markets use Type 2 (AC) and CCS2 (DC), so an adapter may be needed (Akyga, 2025-08-27). Compatibility varies by car and charger. Check local rules, and ask us which version you would receive.

Can I import the Wuling Starlight 730 into my country?

Check your country's registration rules first. Export availability depends on the brand's authorised exporters — ask us to check before you plan a purchase. China requires an export licence for pure electric cars (CnEVPost, 2025-09-26). In Indonesia it is sold as the Wuling Darion (Wikipedia, 2026-10-28).
