The story behind the name

Qiyuan 启源 means 'opening the source'. Changan launched it in 2023 as its mainstream new-energy sub-brand, sold abroad as CHANGAN NEVO; the Changan name recalls the ancient capital Chang'an (today's Xi'an), and the company traces its roots to an arsenal founded in Shanghai in 1862.

What is the range of the Changan Qiyuan A05?

It is a plug-in hybrid: 70 or 145 km on battery alone (CLTC), then the 1.5 L petrol engine takes over (MarkLines, 2023-10-24). CLTC is a Chinese test cycle, so real-world electric range is usually lower. Total range depends on the fuel tank and driving style.

Can I import the Changan Qiyuan A05 into my country?

It depends on your country's import and registration rules (drive side, age, type approval) and on supply.
