The story behind the name

Named after New Zealand's small, round kiwi bird. Baojun means 'treasured horse'; SAIC-GM-Wuling launched the brand in 2010 for its passenger cars.

Quick answer

The Baojun KiWi EV is a four-seat mini EV with a 31.9 kWh battery and 305 km NEDC range; production ended in 2025, so we give no current China price.

Key facts

  • Production status

Ended in 2025: Wikipedia lists production as 2020-2025 and the model among cars discontinued in 2025; China sales were 3,573 in 2024 and 191 in 2025 (Wikipedia, citing Yiche, 2026-10-28)

  • Export status

Export availability depends on the brand's authorised exporters — ask us to check before you plan a purchase. Because production has ended, availability depends on remaining stock. How to buy the Baojun KiWi EV from China

  1. Choose the version and colour.
  2. A licensed Chinese exporter sends you a written quote.
  3. Sign the contract; you pay only after signing.
  4. Inspect the car, or see it on a video call, before it ships.
  5. It ships by RoRo or container and is delivered to you (DAP); a local customs agent clears it.

In the EU or the UK? We only export to private buyers for their own use, not to dealers. A China-market car needs individual approval (IVA) in your country before it can be registered — cost and time vary by country; EU import duty is 10%, plus your country's VAT. If a model can't get approval, we tell you straight away.

About CRAVEUO EV Export. CRAVEUO EV Export helps buyers outside China buy Chinese electric cars. Cars are exported by licensed Chinese export companies named in the contract; nothing is paid before the contract is signed. Ask us on this page, on WhatsApp or by e-mail.

Baojun KiWi EV buyer questions

Is the Baojun KiWi EV still in production?

No. Wikipedia lists production as 2020-2025 and the car among models discontinued in 2025; China sales fell from 3,573 in 2024 to 191 in 2025 (Wikipedia, citing Yiche, 2026-10-28). We therefore show no current China price. Ask us whether any unit is still available.

What is the range of the Baojun KiWi EV?

The 31.9 kWh version is rated up to 305 km on the NEDC cycle (CarNewsChina, 2022-07-14). NEDC is an older test cycle and no CLTC figure appears in our sources, so real-world range is usually lower.

How much did the Baojun KiWi EV cost?

Because the car is out of production, that is no guide to what a remaining unit would cost. CRAVEUO EV Export gives a written quote per order if stock exists.

Can I import the Baojun KiWi EV into my country?

It depends on your country's registration rules and on remaining stock. Top speed is 100 km/h (Wikipedia, 2026-10-28), so check how your country classes small electric cars. China has required an export licence for pure electric cars since 1 January 2026 (CnEVPost, 2025-09-26). The China-market car is left-hand drive.

Which charger does a China-spec Baojun KiWi EV use?

China-market cars use GB/T sockets for both AC and DC charging. Many other markets use Type 2 (AC) and CCS2 (DC), so an adapter may be needed (Akyga, 2025-08-27). Compatibility varies by car and charger. Check local rules, and ask us which version you would receive.
